Major Responsibilities:

• Installing of Oracle Application and upgrading periodically

• Database migration to new Oracle DB

• Copy/Clone of Oracle application environment using Rapid clone

• Database Refresh

• Use Oracle Application tools for maintaining database and application like: ad patch,

admin, adctrl etc.

• Applying RDBMS patches using Opatch

• Creation of a number of database instances for development, testing and production.

• Creation and managing the Database objects and schemas

• Managing the Concurrent Managers and its operations like starting, stopping the concurrent managers, re-schedule the requests, purging the concurrent requests historical data, tuning of concurrent managers and monitoring of the concurrent manager operations.

• Creation of new scripts to automate the procedures to generate statistics on database space management, performance and for proactive monitoring.

• Application user creation / responsibilities assignment

• Knowledge / worked in the RAC environments

• ERP: Oracle Applications 12 (Installation, Upgrades, and migration)

• Modules: Financials (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, iexpenses), Inventory, Purchasing, HRMS, Projects suite, Project costing, Billing,Management, DBI for Purchase, Finance, Projects, Workflow

• Database Tools: Oracle Enterprise Manager (Intelligent Agent, Tuning Pack), TOAD

• Backup Tools: Recovery Manager (RMAN)

• Data Modeling Tools: Oracle Designer 2000

• Languages: Developer 2000, C, Shell Scripts (bourn and korn), Oracle Workflow

• Network Protocol: Net 8, SQL*Net, TCP/IP and CCNA

• Scheduling Tools: Cronjob (Unix), Oracle Enterprise Manager (Intelligent Tools)

• Web Servers 9iAS and Oracle Web Servers.

Qualification & Experience

4-7 Years of relevant experience 11i & R12 Oracle Applications DBA
