Job summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Experience in Sun Servers from entry level to mid / high range. Ideally including Sun Fire V880/890, E6900, E2900, Sun 15K

Expertise on administration of Sun/Veritas Cluster, Veritas/Solaris Volume Manager, H/W RAID

Minimum of 5 years hands-on installation and maintenance experience on Sun products.

Problem solving / analytical skills

Ready to work in 24x7 shifts

Ability to write scripts

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Banking / Financial Services

Understanding of backup process, system monitoring, performance tuning disaster recovery and scripting for UNIX/Linux based OS.

AIX/HP UX OS problem solving knowledge

Good knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures

SAN in depth experience/Knowledge

VMware/VIC experience/Knowledge

Tivoli/ Nagios/ Netcool Monitoring tool experience/knowledge

TSM – Working level knowledge in Tivoli Storage Manager

Demonstrates a knowledge Network protocols and architecture

Ability to document Solaris/ Linux administration and recovery procedures
