The Senior Developer will be expected to spend part of their time coding hands-on and delivering solutions to the technical issues the project faces. The code delivered by the lead should be able to serve as an example of best practices and well though out design while also serving as a framework around which more junior developers can build. In addition the lead will be expected to provide extensive mentoring and guidance of more junior team members to help grow their skills and keep them on track. Should have: (1) Experience of working for a hosted application software provider in B2B environment. (2) Knowledge of and experience with JBoss. (3) Experience with Java 1.5 and higher and deep knowledge of the features added in these new versions. (4) Ability to code and debug Oracle PL/SQL. (5) Experience with performance optimization using tools such as OptimizeIt, JProbe, JProfiler, etc. (6) Prior experience developing applications using the Dojo Framework. (7) Experience in the online advertising industry. (8) Hands on experience in an Agile development based team. (9) Design experience and familiarity with UML.

- 6+ years experience as professional developer, - 3+ years experience as senior developer, - 4+ years experience as Java developer, - 2+ years experience with Web based applications built around Java technologies. - Heavy emphasis on development practices and methodologies which drive software quality (i.e. Defensive Programming, Test Driven Development, etc.) - Experience with technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, and Ajax Frameworks, - Strong SQL skills, - Ability to provide clear guidance and mentoring to a team in the creation of a comprehensive suite of JUnit tests.
