1. White-box and system level testing.

2. Creates and documents test plans and test cases for the above.

3. Creates and executes automated test suites/cases in C/C++ (and Python).

4. Will be testing on both Windows and Non-windows platforms.

Experience

1. Proven experience in C/C++ programming

2. Strong Analytical skills. Candidate should demonstrate the same in testing exercises.

3. Proven experience and strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, test methodologies- Waterfall, V Model, Agile.

4. Strong experience in testing applications on Windows, Linux platforms (preferably from security domain).

5. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external parties including QA, Support, Development Engineers and Customers

6. Prior experience of working in Scrum will be an added advantage

Experience



1. 2-3yrs IT experience which could be in Dev/QA for QA Engr position.

4-5yrs IT experience which could be in Dev/QA for Senior QA Engr position.

2. BE/MCA.



Desirable Knowledge Areas

1. Knowledge in non-functional areas of testing esp Performance and Security.

2. Test certifications such as CSTE/CSQA certification preferred as long as the candidate is able to demonstrate the skills that these certifications promise.

3. Kernel-level/driver testing

4. Crash Dump analysis using WinDbg

5. Knowledge in Python.
